Colt LE6920 Question

Hello,

I just purchsed (backordered) a Colt LE6920. I am hoping the backorder does take forever...

My question: This weapon system has a detachable/removable carry handle... Is there a built-in rail (and of so what kind) under the handle, or does one need to be installed?

I am looking at purchasing my optics to have waiting when the weapon arrives, and want to make sure I have what is necessary to actually attach it to the weapon.

Thanks!

I pretty sure it has a standard picatinny rail which should handle standard optics.

I does have a standard 1913 rail underneath. Here's my LE6920 with the optic on:

Plouffe's rifle has more aftermarket on it than stock, so yours will look nothing like that But yes, your 6920 will have what you need to attach your optic of choice.

With the exception of the optic, brake, and light it's stock.

My fault, Plouffe's rifle IS mostly stock. But he did get a great sales package.

I've got the Colt 6920 MOE and it came with Magpul
furniture, from Colt, including the vertical fore grip.
All of the 6920's have the top rail as part of the upper.
