51 Navy makes sexiest gun list

For wut it's worth, MovieStyleGuy, basically a film reviewer, picks the sexiest guns in movies.

The Colt 1851 Navy Revolver
Designed in 1850 (odd, I know) by Samuel Colt and later adopted by the US Navy (a similiar, but different model was produced for the Army shortly after), the 1851 Navy Revolver is beautiful on many levels. It’s an intimidating weapon with great length (14inches) and a weight of just over 3lbs. While in stock configuration its a beauty, this is one handgun that takes engraving and custom grips well. Chambered in .36 ball, this black powder pistol takes awhile to load up, but makes a strong statement as to how much of a badass you are. Later on, some conversions were produced allowing the gun to accept cartridges, as seen in a few of Sergio Leone’s flicks. Eastwood’s character sported an 1851 with custom grips emblazoned with a rattlesnake.

(Though I don't own one, I think the Colt '60 Army is sexier than my '51.)

He has good taste but I prefer the 1860 as well. The 1851 doesn't weight just over 3lbs though. I don't know how "intimidating" it is, it's claim to fame is its well balanced, svelte design.

I like the looks of the 51 Navy better than the 60 Army, just don't know how I'd like a .36

Cabela's lists the weight at 2 lbs 9 oz.

Perhaps Cabela's weight is empty and the MovieStyleGuy's is loaded. I'll weigh mine tonight and see what I get.
