The best AR 15 for under $800 is the one you pick up and say yea baby, you're going home with me. There are so many things and parts that you can put on a AR it is crazy. That's why they refer to the AR-15 as a grown man's Barbie doll. Just go out and buy one and make it yours.

Maybe the best in how it makes you feel in the heat of the purchase, but not the best in terms of QA/QC and long-term reliability/durability.

Well considering that the AR market is saturated ATM, there are a lot of genuine bargains in the AR relm.

Absolutely! A BCM upper and a PSA lower. Hard to beat that combo. And probably way less than $800.
