Not a problem but there were cases that were identified as recall because of the annealing process. I have some, I shot them before I found a recall notice.

Snap caps for straight wall cartridges are easily made.
Go to a hardware store and buy some nylon screws about the diameter of the primer pocket and no longer than the cartridge case. Drill and tap the primer pocket to proper dimensions to fit your screw. Screw the nylon screw into the case from the mouth so that the bottom of the screw is protruding from the primer pocket and flush with the head of the case. You now have a snap cap. |
