Savage 12g service recs
I have had this Savage model 69rxl for almost 45 years. About 100 rounds total, it works fine. Should I have a competent gun smith take apart/clean/ lube or leave it alone?
TIA

I would say if she hasn't been cleaned in 45 years, then by all means, take her to a smith.

As a gunsmith, I will say to make sure you ask the smith if he is familiar with that model. I don't take them in because they are touchy, and parts are almost impossible to find.
