Phoenix arms hp-22 is nice little gun..
Had heard many good things about it on the forums and I must say I can add to that. Bought one at the gun show last weekend for $100 (overpaid I know). I only have put about 200 rounds through it so far with cheap ammo and a handfull of left over stingers and it worked flawlessly. Pretty darn accurate too at 15 yards. And with a lifetime warranty to the original owner you cant go wrong. I would recommend it to anyone for an inexpensive plinker.
My only complaint is that the slide stays closed after the last round...Is it harmful to dry fire a rim fire gun? |

Some guns, like Ruger, have a firing pin stop which prevents the firing pin from hitting the breechface. I'm not sure about the HP22 though. As a general rule, dryfiring rimfires is a bad idea. |

I have two Phoenix Arms 22s and they are both good guns, i have put a lot of rounds through them and have no problems just a fun gun to shoot. Try one in each hand while you run 20 rounds out great fun.
