Great news
Hallelujah I got my Glock 17 back from Glock GA! Complete with 23 new parts, including a connector, striker assembly, and slide. Glock certainly takes care of its customers.

It is sitting in a Glock holster right now, with a spare mag in a Glock plastic mag holder.

Did you ever tell us how it broke? I'd also be curious as to the age and round count, if you don't mind sharing that information.

It got broke from too much dry-firing. There was a cone-shaped hole around the striker hole in the breech. The round count was several thousand. With lots of dry-firing. Glock replaced the slide free of charge.
I now use home-made snap caps. Last edited by otasan; November 9, 2017 at 03:39 PM. |
