Powder supply estimate

OK, another dumb question from a new guy Still building his bench and trying to get some supplies together.

About how many cases, on average, can you load of 223 out of a pound of powder? Nothing scientific, just a ballpark.

That depends, no not the undies for oldsters. it depends on the powder charge. If you figure the average of ummm oh, lets say 22.0 grains, then it's---318=_a couple. Just divide 7,000,(grains per pound), by whatever charge weight.
