Cabela's kit
How does that media separater work? Do you pour casings and media from tumbler through the sieve thingy into a bucket and then pour the media back into the tumbler? Obviously a newbie question!!!

I just pour all contents of my tumbler into the basket thingy. You can also keep the strainer on the tumbler to "drain" most of the media before pouring the brass and remaining media into the basket thingy on the media seperator (this can get meesy). BTW I have the RCBS media seperator which contains a basket that closes and allows you to "tumble" the brass to drain all the media. Thats it..pretty easy. Good luck!

Got a spare 5-gallon bucket laying around? The sieve fits perfectly over one if you do. If you don't, $4 at Home Depot puts you in business.
I'm going to get a rotary media separator, though, as mentioned above. Shaking out the media that gets caught inside the cases can be a pain.
