modding the laserlyte internal for other firearms

can this be done or has anybody heard of it? i would really like something like this with my sr9. instead of the weird looking rear laser sights

ok so anything can be done. the problem here lies in your tool set and ability to fabricate parts. theoretically you can strip out the core assembly from an internal guide rod laser and fab it into one for another gun. given the original specs are close. but unless you have a lathe and mill you are going to have problems pulling this off.
