7.5 MOA or 3 MOA pistol sight?
I've decided to get a Leupold Deltapoint Red-Dot to mount on my 8 3/4 inch S&W 617, but I'm undecided on getting a 7.5 MOA or 3 MOA set-up.
It's going to be mostly for shilouette shooting and some target work, nothing fancy, but the gun is just so damn accurate I'd hate loose anything by going to a 7.5 MOA sight (if that's a big change). This is my first time to mount a sight on a handgun, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am not familiar with the specific of that optic I have an Aimpoint and a Bushnell. You caln always make your smaller MOA larger by bumping up the intensity. Suggest the 3 MOA since you obviously cannot make the 7.5 smaller.

I have a 6.5 moa trijicon reflex on my ar, had the choice of that and a 4 moa, when I shoot at 100+ I wish I'd have gone with 4moa, 50 and less no issues with the 6.5
7.5 moa is roughly 3.75" at 50 vs 1.5" with a 3 moa |
