38/357 180 gr
I've got a chance to pick up some 38/357 JTC-SIL and TMJ bullets at a real good price. When I check my books I can't find any load for that heavy of a bullet for a 38 (S&W Model 15). The only powder I have at this time is Win 231. What are you're recommendations?
Thanks, Dan |

Those are really for the .357 not the .38 Special.
Check Hodgdon's website for load data. There are loading for these in 38 Special cases with a good dose of 2400 that should only be used in .357 guns. Actually OAL might make them too long for a 38 with these loadings since you crimp in the rear groove. |
