38/357 180 gr

I've got a chance to pick up some 38/357 JTC-SIL and TMJ bullets at a real good price. When I check my books I can't find any load for that heavy of a bullet for a 38 (S&W Model 15). The only powder I have at this time is Win 231. What are you're recommendations?

Thanks, Dan

Those are really for the .357 not the .38 Special.

Check Hodgdon's website for load data.

There are loading for these in 38 Special cases with a good dose of 2400 that should only be used in .357 guns. Actually OAL might make them too long for a 38 with these loadings since you crimp in the rear groove.
