I would not want to try green FART's. That sounds like an unpleasant Bile issue.
Liquid FART's is another body malfunction best avoided
Blue F.A.R.T. juice is sold and works well. Auto wash/wax keeps the shine.
RO H2O goes in my FART.

Poconolg, you need to explain what F.A.R.T. is in relation to the use of Simple Green (I assume that is the "non-toxic, biodegradable cleaner.")

Iosso liquid case cleaner is one of the best liquid cleaners that I've used.

The instructions say that you can dilute it with water, I don't so that it can be reused. Of course this all depends on how much and how dirty the brass is.

Dawn dish washing detergent, Lemishine, and some dishwasher rinse to get the soap scum off.

Brass comes out shiny and as clean as it came out of the box, even after 20 reloads.

Simple Green may work great, just never had the need to try it.

Without the dish washer rinse, you may have issues with soap scum coating remaining on the brass.
When I don't use the rinse, I get dirty fingers when I chamfer the inside and outside of the necks. When I use the rinse, there is nothing to rub off.

You get one pouch with the FART. I order the quarts. It has citric acid and detergent. It is concentrated and if I use as directed it takes many rinses to get rid of suds.
I find that RO water eliminates spots; use in all stages.
My FART does not stink!

Nobody seems to want to answer your question with a straight face. I honestly don't know the answer, either. Simple Green is alkaline, with a pH of about 9. This means it will neutralize acid up until the pH is neutral, at which point its cleaning properties will be compromised, so you likely won't get good results combining it with citric acid (Lemishine, lemon juice, etc.) You can try it by itself to see how well carbon is removed, but I wouldn't expect it to handle brass corrosion as well as the citric acid-based soluitions.

I add a few drops of simple green to my small tumbler. I found it cleans better, but it also makes the brass more "grabby". I stopped adding lemie shine a while ago, as it didn't do anything for me. I don't care about shinny brass.

One thing about using simple green. You don't want to let the brass sit in the solution for long. I rinse it out as soon as I'm done tumbling.
