AR buffer tubes? SBA3 tube or carbine?
I'm slowly accumulating parts for my latest AR build, and am building a pistol for the first time. I've decided on the SBA3 brace, and I see it comes with a 5 position buffer tube, while I'm pretty sure the tubes I've used in my past builds were 6 position.
My question is....is the SBA3 tube the same length with fewer positions, or a shorter tube?

SBA3 is shorter than a carbine tube and requires an SBA3 compatible buffer and spring to properly cycle. Using the SBA3 stuff is insurance against being accused of building a short barrelled rifle.
