When I was a kid, my folks bought me a single shot 20 gauge for Christmas. I still have that shotgun and will treasure it until I die. I gave my daughter a single shot .22 rifle for Christmas many years ago. We will have to do some shooting when she comes to visit next week. : )
I hope all of you have fond memories of the times you spend with your families and friends over the holidays. |

No gun related items for me, but I too will always treasure a gun I received when I turned thirteen. It was super cool Remington Nylon 66 which I still have and hold as one of my prized possessions.

Some 9mm and .22lr ammo, a USGI magazine pouch, a SOG fielder knife, and a waxed canvas tool roll for my gunsmithing tools. Also some non related objects, like a bottle of Templeton Rye Whiskey
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all

No gun stuff. But on a good note a 3lb box of chocolates to eat while enjoying my iPad Pro.

Snow.
Pneumonia for everyone with working lungs. And a collapsible camp table. Oh, and a .17 caliber rifling cleaning kit. (Santa is helping me prepare for a future acquisition... ) Not from Santa, though... My brother made a knife and sheath for me, from an old mill bastard file and a piece of fence post, to go along with a rifle I built to look like it was made from an old fence post. (The plan changed a bit, but the wear on the rifle and "fence post" wood remained.) I'm really looking forward to getting that knife in my hands.

After a few years being completely out of the shooting hobby my wife got me a new work bench and a Lee hand press. Still have some things to collect to get started but it feels good getting back in the game!

S&W Factory Nickel Model 19-4 with 4"barrel along with box. As I was leaving Santa's store, one of the elf's pointed out a Norinco Poly Tec SKS for a donation of $195.00. It helped escort the revolver home.

I feel for ya with the flu bug for Christmas. 2 years ago my clan of 4 took turns with that. This year it was just me and the Mrs. under the weather. Thankfully the youngins are feeling well enough to play with their new toys.
As for what Santa left me, nothing. I've been naughty this year at the lgs and have bought my own presents through the year. Between my lgs and Palmettos endless email deals I'm lucky to still be married. Merry Christmas and happy New Years!! |

The only gun-related item I got this year was a big bottle of my favorite gun oil, from one of my daughters.
My other daughter gave us our first grandchild, a darling little girl, just a couple of months ago, so our focus has changed a bit. Heck, the center of the universe changed when that little one drew her first breath. |

Parents and in-laws decided to go with cash. Even had cash as a stocking stuffer from wife. Heading to the local gun show this coming weekend to pick up a new 442 airweight for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Got an early gift this year -- an industrial safe from a business that closed. I use for handguns and some of my ammo. It's 1,900 pounds, rated two hours at 1,800 degrees and is rated to withstand a three story drop without opening. I'm slowly adding organizers, etc. to it. Ugly, but a nice ugly.

Santa brought me new tires on our main car - $800+.
However, the week before, one of his elves brought me a second HK P7 - this one with that plum colored slide and a 4 digit serial number

Referring to a Rem 66 from a p1 post:
I bought one in the late 70s and have only shot it 20-30 times. My son took my Dads 'old 22' to the range when we had Boy Scouts here on an exchange, Welsh Scouts. Several of his buddies brought 10/22s and had trouble single loading. He enjoyed the 'old 22' and said it will "really shoot." Our scouts supplied guns/ammo and the Welsh scouts shot as they wanted to. they dont get to do that at home. Only gun my Dad ever owned, a Western Auto special, from the late 30s I guess. As far as Santa, he didnt do me too bad. Only a few bills. |

A green plaid JC penny flannel shirt and a LL Bean Chamois Shirt.
Owned the same Bean shirt long ago and wore it out. i.e. One of the warmest long sleeved shirts made. |
