Arminius?

Can anyone help me ID and learn about a 7 shot .32 S&W Long snubby I inherited?

It's an 2" Arminius HW3 snubnose revolver, Made in Germany, Ser. # 161XXX.

Thanks. I'll get some pictures posted real soon.

Any websites, books, or info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a couple of them. They're very inexpensive. Value would be around 60-100 dollars here in the U.S.

I can say that mine have never failed when shooting and I believe they were made better than the other inexpensive revolvers coming out of Germany at the time (RG, Roscoe, etc.)

Check to see if yours is even all steel. Usually the frame was made of some sort of zinc or other alloy. A magnet won't stick to it...

Hope this helps some-

You have a gun made by Hans Hermann Weihrauch, West Germany. No dates, and I doubt that theres any records thaat can be researched. The Arminus name was used by a number of German makers and importers. Arminus was a German warrior hero who ambushed and wiped out an entire Roman Legion Way back when. They like to put his name on products. Value is as posted , Like new, 100$
