New Centerfire Rifles In Each Price Range
New Centerfire Rifles In Each Price Range
I only included rifles who's main purpose is hunting. These prices are just the MSRPs and can be found for much cheaper. I decided to take my time to do this so if you are looking for a centerfire rifle in a certain price range you can look at this for reference. *I didn't include every rifle out there, just mainly the ones from the most popular manufacturers. Hope this helps you! $100-$199 - N/A $200-$299 - N/A $300-$399 - Mossberg ATR - $366 - Remington 770 - $373 - Marlin X7 - $390 $400-$499 - Ruger American Rifle - $449 - Remington 789 - $451 - Mossberg 464 - $497 $500-$599 - Marlin 336C - $590 $600-$699 - Mossberg 4x4 - $643 $700-$799 - Remington 700 - $700 - Mossberg MVP - $729 $800-$899 - Winchester Model 70 - $879 - Remington 750 - $884 - Ruger M77 - $899 - Browning X-Bolt - $899 $900-$999 - Remington 7600 - $900 - Browning BLR - $959 - Mossberg MMR Hunter - $978 - Remington Model Seven - $998 - Browning A-Bolt - $999 $1000+ - Winchester Model 94 - $1,200 - Remington R-15 - $1,296 - Browning BAR - $1,300 - Remington R-25 - $1,631 |

Savage??? You may have overlooked them, but I'm pretty sure they have at least some popularity.

Add the Weatherby Vanguard S2. The factory MSRP listed on the website is $649, but the real world price is around $450. I bought mine new for $425.

H&R fills that gap at the low end so I would definitely want to add them.

Hi-point Carbines could fill the $200 range. Not really a rifle and not really for hunting, but it would put an option in that price range.

I didn't think about the hi-point carbines, but they would work well for that price range.

One of the interesting things i noticed when I looked at this list was Browning, a brand I normally consider to be expensive, is pretty competitive at the given MSRPs. In the $800, $900, and $1000+ I think they have my first choice.
I think their MSRP may be closer to actual retail than some of the others though, at least in the normal market. |
