Remmies...... phhhhtt.

I like the longer barrels too..... they're heavier an' it don't take as many of em sank on a rope to hold my boat steady in the wind.

^^^ Bullcrap. That's just ignorance speaking. All he has to do is to ship them in separate boxes *just like the dealers do* and it's perfectly legal.

And I want to thank the OP for SCREWING UP this auction for the members here. I would have been a bidder, but not now that you have "warned him" without knowing what you are talking about, and scaring the poor guy into demanding an FFL. Thanks a lot... (not).

Why can't people leave well enough alone? We have plenty of BS to deal with. Don't need those who think they know something to muck up a good deal....

What's worse is unless somebody sets him straight from now on every conversion he sells he will want to go through an FFL.

"What's worse is unless somebody sets him straight from now on every conversion he sells he will want to go through an FFL. "

Hawg that appears to be the case. I got an email from the seller. He's not gonna be shipping in separate containers or anything like that, he'll have to "manufacture" a firearm from the Uberti and the cylinders, put that on paper and sell only to an FFL holder. Ye gods we are often our worst enemy...

I won't be bidding, the nearest FFL holder that will do this for me without charging 15% (or more) is 50 miles one way. I have better things to do with my time and money.

Oh well, back to watching the auctions!

OP is probably a closet gun grabber, even with his screen name, or thinks that all of us BP shooters need to go thru the gyrations that he has too. SHEESH!

We had a sign at a place I worked where you could kill yourself and others if not careful.
The sign read. CAUTION! If you don't know what you are doing, don't do anythinmg. and the owner meant just that. Perhaps this should apply to folks that don't know the federal law about BP guns.........

^^ what he said. I was planning to bid, and this totaly screwed up what would have been a nice way to get some coversion cylinders.

Suggest the OP be tarred and feathered should he ever deign to join our table again.

I'll lead the charge.

I sent him a PM, to whit:

'A hearty "screw you" from all of us in the black powder forum for screwing up a legal and good auction. Thanks a lot... not.'

No apologies offered.
