Update with chrono results

OK , I went to the range today and tested all those loads and results as follows .

All loads are 308 Win only firing 2 shots each through the chrono . Max charge info was pulled from Hodgdon website using 24" barrel .

178gr BTHP ( Hornady )
40.8gr IMR 8208xbr ( 175gr smk max 42.5gr @ 2664fps ) ( 180gr SPR-SP max 40.0gr @ 2497fps )
CCI# 200 Primers
COAL 2.805
LC-09 cases

22" Ruger American - 2595fps
18" AR-10 - 2550fps

150gr FMJ-BT ( Hornady )
43gr H-335 ( 150gr NOS_BT Max 44gr @ 2787fps ) ( 150gr NOS E-TIP Max @ 2790fps )
CCI# 200 Primers
COAL 2.690 with crimp
LC-17 cases

22" Ruger American 2810fps
18" AR-10 2760

147gr FMJ-BT ( Everglades ) crapy bullet ( poor QC the crimp groves placement is unbelievably inconsistent )
46gr IMR-4320 ( 150gr NOS-BT Max 49.0gr c @ 2936fps ) ( 150gr NOS E-TIP Max 47'6 @ 2876
CCI# 200 Primers
COAL 2.740
LC-17 cases

22" Ruger American 2795fps
18" AR-10 2735fps .

Looks to me I'm likely only a tad high on that second load of H-335 . Correct me if I'm wrong but I'd say that isn't unsafe high but is likely to stress out my brass ? EDIT - I'll likely back off .5gr which should be the 40fps I need to drop . That said I have about 150rds loaded at that charge I plan to shoot rather then pull ????
If Jesus had a gun , he'd probably still be alive !

I almost always write my posts regardless of content in a jovial manor and intent . If that's not how you took it , please try again .
