Cowhide or Horsehide?

Is horsehide realy better than cowhide for IWB holsters? I hear it's got nateral water resistants, It's thinner, It's harder to mold or Bone, And it's harder to get it to take color. But for IWB is it realy better or is cowhide. Some say cowhide is more comfortable? If you sweat alot wouldn't horse hide last longer?

Well yes, yes, yes.....etc. Everything you said is true. But some like horse better than cowhide. ALL of mine are cowhide.

IWB's are thin enough that horsehide wont be of a real benefit. Most of the time anyway....you can only go so thin as it is and good back strap is very strong.

If you want the best of both worlds......get a holster with a HH back/rear panel and a Cowhide front panel. Then you win both ways.....

Shoot well.
