Got me. I don't know either. I bought some from a member who posts here and bought a bunch from Ammoman.com.

When I log onto their website now, the .308 page is almost empty and the .223 just lists blanks.

Ammoman just listed Hornady 110 gr. TAP for. . .are you ready for this. . .$199 for 100 rounds delivered.

Not sure how effective blanks would be

Either one is hard to come by today as is 22LR.

I have been looking for pistol ammo so while my search continues I also look at the rifle ammo. You can still find some but you will pay out your nose for it... Like some one said $2 a round is normal for now... Good luck

It is being bought, and hoarded, like all the other ammo is right now.

It's in the possession of all those who had sense enough to buy it when it was reasonably available.

Yup.

Glad I stocked up when Federal was on sale for $10 a box.
After that I thought I was being ripped off at $12 a box.

Looking back, I guess I did ok.
