SAA .357mag
Hi all
After having put around 300 rounds through my new Uberti cattleman, I can honestly say I love it. I'm sticking to .357 cases but with lighter loads than full house mag loads. I'm using 125 gn west cast projies with 5.5, 6.5 and 7.7 gn of unique behind them. Pretty accurate at 10meters even single handed. I always seem to miss by a mile my first shot but subsequent shots are inside the red rings. Maybe I'm just needing more practice. I've been mixing them up with every second round a different gn charge. Just for fun!! Anyway it's a bloody beauty to shoot, yeah it takes me longer to load and unload especially with a hot barrel and chamber but that's all in the fun. How many old west coyboys sooked about a hot gun right? I'll try upload from my iPhone some pics...

what are you doing differently on that first shot? It could be phsycological in cause.
in general terms ive seen alot of people do that. they forget they need to hold their firearm correctly, and that first shot rattles them back into remembering. Remember the first time you didnt have that spankin new 30-06 all the way against your shoulder the first time you shot it? and always made sure you did after that first shot? |

I have an Uberti Cattleman Bisley in .357. I really like it, but it shoots to the right and low for me, and others as well. As much as I like it for the cool factor, if I can't get it to shoot to point of aim, I'm ditching it.
