Keeping rust out of pot
I pulled out my 15yr old Lee Production Pot IV which I never used. When I loked inside their was some surface rust inside the walled of the pot. I cleaned it with a wire brush and Navel Jelly. When not in use can it keep the inside of the pot lubed to keep the rust out. I would degrease it before using
it but I was not sure if there is anything else i need to do before I use it for the first time. Mike |

What ya done will suffice to begin using it again. I just leave cooled lead in the pot when I am done and I never see any rust then, but I don't put mine away as long as you did. Even if a spec or two of rust surfaces from stirring the sides of the pot, it floats on top an is easily spooned away with the next drossing.
