Career as a LEO

Hi guys,

Not sure if this was the right thread to post this in or whether or not I will get any reponses, but...I am actively pursuing a career in law enforcement, a local county agency. I have a few questions that I know I wont ask on here, basically because they are related to the nuts and bolts of being a police officer, nothing to do with the training. If some of you LEO's wouldnt mind PM'ing me, I have just a few questions regarding spouses hating/not liking the job, how the schedules are with your kids, etc. As you can see from my screen name, changing jobs to become a police officer is a huge change from the job I currently have and I just want to get a feel from someone other than a PO recruiter...
