can somebody point me toward a website or book that i can look up serial numbers to find out about their origin? none of them are valuable to collectors, but i'd like to know when and where they were made as well as anything else i could find out.

winchester mod 12 / 12 ga s/n 1735006
lefever / 16 ga dbl s/n 109213
hartford firearms co / 12 ga dbl s/n 139148

would it be better if i posted this in the shotgun forum?

The Winchester Model 12, based on the serial number, was made in the late 50's, early 60's... That is all I can tell you.
