Old article in SWAT magazine

Many years back there was an article on a straight pull action rifle made in England that used AR-15 magazines and some AR-15 parts. It had a wooded stock. It was also on the cover.

Can anyone tell me which issue it was?

Does anyone know what the gun was called?

Thanks HW

I'll look through the archives.

Hunter,

It was the March, 1995 issue of S.W.A.T. and it was called the CAM rifle.

The rifle looked like a cross between the Spanish FR8 and an SMLE, and did indeed use M16 mags. The source we had listed for the rifle was Key II, Inc., out of Alexandria, VA. I checked with directory assistance and they don't have a listing.

Thanks Denny

Anyway you could scan the pictures in the article and the cover and post them here? Many AR guys might find it interesting.

How do I purchase this back isssue?

HW-
The files from my scanner are too large to post.

I'm not sure if we have issues that far back, but you might try here:
