My other new toy, 0 to 2 in 8x57 in a week
Kar 88 made by Schilling in Suhl in 1892, a bit spotty but all matching numbers Neat troop mark, Funken Telegraphen XIII. Korps (radio group 13. army corps) You don't see that anymore, screws numbered to the rifle

I used to love being able to hit hard at 1000 yards. As I get older I find hitting a mini ram at 200 yards with the 22 oddly more satisfying. |

Looks pretty good. Has the sling slot been filled or is it just the photo? I've been trying to find a decent Kar 88 to go with my Gew88's for awhile now but the only ones I've come across have been modified or are way overpriced.

Lots of stamps all over the stock, haven't figured them all out.
