coyote hunting
I dont mean to sound dumb, but ive never been coyote hunting and i have a cusin who has some problems with coyotes and I offered my help. would my 12 gauge shotgun be good enough for hunting them? I have a rifled barrel for slugs and the smooth bore for buckshot. If it is what kind of loads should i use?

Around my neck of the woods we use lead BB's if you can find them. They will stop a 'yote out to 60-70 yards with a good killing pattern. 4 buck does the trick but only has, I believe, 25-30 pellets and can open up large holes in a pattern beyond 40-45 yards. Just my .02 cents.
