I never owned one but one of my shooting friends had one. It never failed in the years he had it. Recoil was pretty stiff compared to my BT99. He added a Gracoil that tamed the recoil pretty well.

I have found one that is dirt cheap. It is in almost as new condition. No dents dings and good blue. The chamber face has no wear whatsoever. I heard that they were pretty straight shooting and had some felt recoil but I have never shot one.

I have an Ithica featherlight and I imagen their both built with great Ithica quality. It is my favorite of my shotguns accurate as hell. I would most certinaly buy another firearm in Ithica's name just because I adore the featherlight so much (I have it in a 12 gage). Personally I have never herd of anything bad or wrong with Ithica's firearms but I suppose we will here some peoples opions soon enough.
