Pass the hat!

I'd like to kick in some money to defray the costs of bringing this site back up. I'm sure I'm not the only one (HINT, HINT). Shoot me an address to send a check.

The thought is greatly appreciated. The generous offer is politely declined on the following basis:

1) We don't allow AD's on TFL. Why? Because we insist that we run things our way. (IOW, we're Control Freaks....hadn't you noticed? ) Donations would fall into the same category. Before you know it we'd have some of the "lesser lights" complaining that they have a "right" to do this or that because they help fund the site.

2) We don't like dealing with the IRS. We don't like IRS Forms. We don't like IRS Auditors. We don't like the IRS.

3) When the time comes to look for funding to run TFL, it's time for me (and others) to move on...this is not a threat. It's a reality that we've discussed in past among Staff. There are far better operators out there for a commercial or pay site. Eric from GlockTalk has done this in exemplary fashion.

4) Monies for TFL are budgeted yearly from a pro-RKBA fund that would be spent regardless. If you wish to do your part, join or up your status with the NRA, GOA or JPFO.

Thanks again for the offer.
Rich
