I note that Glock came to the gun business from the plastics business. Maybe plastics are enough better now to go fully unlined.

Glock came from a business making curtain rods. Magpul has been making gun products from nothing but polymer while Glock has been left back in the 80s. Hopefully they'll be good. Testing and evaluation will tell.
