2 Men With Bombs,Grenades,Guns Shut Down a Met Area of 3 Million. Is this the Future?
2 Men With Bombs,Grenades,Guns Shut Down a Met Area of 3 Million. Is this the Future? Lots of guns involved. Whole bunch!
I was thinking of this running up placid (for now) Miami Beach last night. But Thursday, Miami-Dade police investigated at least 4 incidents, where normally harmless looking objects were situated: a cooking pot, a briefcase, a cigarette lighter, a "suspicious" bomb looking package. See here. The briefcase and the "bomb" were detonated. All were benign. And these were just in Dade County, Florida in one day. How many incidents occurred across America these past 5 days? Probably hundreds or more we have not heard about. So,is this our future? Have the Jihadists decided on the thousand cuts strategy? Or was this just a fleeting random blip of 2 extremists making their own horrific statement? 5 days of terror for Greater Boston, our most historic city. Thoughts,TFL |

Not enough is known about the situation for us to draw any such conclusions. Despite the tangential involvement of guns, the underlying topic isn't gun-related, and it's too likely to veer into politics at this point.
