im wondering why did the israelites use m16 instead of their homebrewed galil?

Because to save the HOLY land our governmental officials gave them to the Israelis for free.

Yes, the M16s were supplied free, by our government. The Israelis now use the '16s for REMF and police use. Galils go to their frontline operators. Kinda makes you wonder why if the '16 is so wonderfull. Anyone going to question the Israeli's knowledge of armaments and war expeareance?
