Which grip size on the Glock 21 Gen4 matches the original 21?
I get that most people will go "why?" but honestly I just shot my original Glock 21 (non-SF) Gen3 so well I'd like to figure out which grip insert on the Gen4 is the same distance from the back to the trigger.
I did some searching but not a lot of people are looking for this. |

maybe you could wrap a piece of masking tape around the grip and measure it for comparison? and try to match the same size with the Gen 4
then keep adding a different one until the size matches the original grip size of the G21 |

I believe without any of the backstraps it is the same as the SF, and the medium without a beavertail is the same as the Gen 3 standard.

MdThanatos is correct: The Gen 4 with no back straps has the same grip dimensions as the SF Gen 3 models. The Gen 4 with the regular medium backstrap is the same as the regular non-SF Gen 3 models.

Awesome, thank you very much. I don’t have the gen3 anymore, otherwise I would’ve checked myself.
