We appreciate all of our customers and that is from Gilbert Berry on down. In Hulley's defense the HP or FP design in the 9mm 124gr is a very finicky profile for some guns to get it right.

Finally! Last night I fired off a couple (4) rounds of the lead cast RN that I made up and they worked like a charm! So now I'm gonna go to the range tonight and shoot the rest of the rounds I made up. I made several batches of the LCRN at various lengths and I got a package from Berry's last night and I made those up as well! is so nice to have something work that you made! Thanks for all the help guys and Jay for the gift package!

Glad it all finally worked out for you.
Unfortunately, you initially chose one of the harder bullet configurations there is to start your reloading adventure. But, now you have one of the easiest to get to work each and every time. Have fun! |

They do take a bit of seating, but here's what I did with some of the Berry's 124 grain PHPs today.
Loaded at that COAL, I had absolutely no feeding, firing or ejection issues whatsoever in the CZ SP-01 Phantom. Gonna try some more loads with AA#2, as well. Please tell us how you like the Berry's round nose! Keep having fun, that's what it's all about! |

Armoredman, what kind of recoil do you get with that load? I'm not that familiar with the CZ's (I'm to lazy to go and look it up ) is your pistol a full sized, compact, or sub-compact. I am just wondering as I never got to the C.O.L. you show on your target.(I got close) I'll have to do a little more figuring and give that a try.
OH YEA! thats good news about your load hulley |

Recoil was very manageable, nothing bad at all.
That is an CZ SP-01 Phantom, the coolest CZ pistol I have tried to date. Full size, and I carry it concealed. Last edited by armoredman; September 15, 2011 at 10:27 PM. Reason: spelling |

Thanks, I've only read good things about the CZ line. I've looked at a couple of them and liked them but hard to find a place here to look at or rent one and shoot. I'll keep looking for this one...
