Keep that comp clean



It doesn't take much to destroy accuracy when using a compensator. You need to keep it clean. The above pic is after only 300 rounds in my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 lite shooting CCI SV and Eley Practice.

I clean with a mixture of 50% Hydrogen Peroxide and 50% Vinegar. After letting it sit for 3 hours this is what came out of the comp.

Make sure to keep some baking soda mixed in water to neutralize your cleaning solution as it is very caustic

Kroil penetrating oil mixed with Shooter's Choice Lead Remover formula works too
