What is the "dot searching problem"?
Been looking at articles on red-dot scopes and holosights and this has come up a couple of times. Can someone here tell me what it is?
Thanx, - pdmoderator

It ususally relates to the problems many people have with the red dots on ips pistols. If you are not used to shooting one, often you will draw or transfer the gun to a hand and not be able to locate the dot immediately. The resulting movements in trying to locate the dot is called the cmore shuffle out here. But, most shooters can adapt to the red dot and be able to locate it pretty easily after some practice.
