ar15 value
Hey guys I'm curious about my rifle value and possibly wanting to sell it. Just looking for a fair asking price for now. It is a DPMS panther bull 24. It has an IOR 4x14 tactical scope, McCormick match trigger, MagPul precision stock, Hogue grip, and GG&G picatany scope rail. Gun has about 150 rounds threw it and is in like new condition. Scope has usual ring marks. Thanks

That's not worth anything anymore. DPMS sucks and everybody knows it. Simply being around one makes you legally more liable in an accident. I'll take it off your hands for $80 or so and figure out a way to sell it for scrap or something.

Just trying to share a little envy and humor. Good luck if you do decide you want to sell it!

$2300 is a fair value. Don't dog dakota too much, he's just trying to get his hands on an AR

Hmmm. I was going to say bout $1600. I not familiar with that scope though, so that could be the difference. Are we talking actual price or the Democrat induce panic price? If it's the latter it doesn't have a value. It's just what ever someone will pay to get their hands on one that is acceptable for you, be it $500 or $5000.

Thanks for your help guys. Now i've never sold a rifle privately. Can i sell to any buyer in any state where the firearm is legal for sale?

If you are going to ship it, I would get the FFL info from the buyer first. I would then call that FFL and make sure that it would be legal for a person to own your gun in that state before actually making the sale. |

That scope is likely worth $800 to $1800 on it's own depending on exact model and time of purchase. I would split it into scope, mount and rifle to get the best return. That is like 5 min worth of work and would probably net you $500 or more. Setup is in the eye of the beholder and nobody will like your setup as much as you do.
Wow! My 1000th post and I became an NRA life member on the same day! |

The scope is the high dollar part in this group. A IOR 4x14 tactical scope could be up to $1.8K+ depending on model.
The AR alone is about 1.5K with today's crazy prices. |

The scope is the older 30mm tube model. They go for around $1000 from what i have seen.
I was thinking around $800. It is about 4 years old. |
