Night Sights for Metro Arms
Was wondering if anyone knew of night sights that fit the Metro Arms 1911 series. Have a compact commander on the way and the manufacturer said they aren't exactly a novak cut.

So am I to understand that the manufacturer has no idea how the sights are cut?

No, just that they are not quite the standard cut. Armscor says the same thing.

Dawson Precision makes fiber optic sights for MetroArms 1911s (which they installed on my 9MM Commander), they might be able to help you. As I remember, the rear sight is a standard Novak cut, not sure about the front sight.
