Hmmm, June 11th...

... has a NRA Action on the schedule, but that's for 9AM. I could do the Action shoot and then head on over to the Gathering(where ever it may be this time around?).

Jamie, keep us posted on when and where.

We're on for Saturday June 11th at Water and Wings. They finally got back to me and said they will close the range for us.

More details in a few...........

Spread the word.

Jamie - thx for date conf' - it does look like this one may well not be a go'er for me - pity, as I have much enjoyed the last two.

Time will tell tho and if as time draws nearer it would still be OK to ''turn up'' then I'll hopefully do just that!!

I do have a shoot planned for near here May 28 - just in case you are interested let me know or peek HERE

Best

I'm allowed to go out once a month (according to the boss) and I already have a road trip to South Carolina in May. I'll be hanging out with the guys from www.ambackforum.com I don't think I can make it to the SW shoot.

I really want to get out there sometime.

So where is this range at? Not sure if I can make it yet, but, if it's close, then I will have a greater chance. I live in York Pa.

The 11th is still blocked out on my calendar. Something about turning money into noise on that day or something.........
Any theme?
Are they planning on fixing the clays course, ever?

I know I can't bring the machine guns, but can I bring the 50 BMG rifle?

Range will be open 9am-5pm.

The only rules for bringing the 50bmg are these:

1)You have to let me shoot it.

2)No tracers.

June 11th is still a long ways away but I'll keep this thread going for a little while until things get a little closer. Then I'll post more info.

Feel free to email or PM me if you have any questions.

All Patriotic gun owners are welcome!!

June 11th sounds good! For once I will have some free time coming up!

Jamie I cant bring a 50, though I could bring lightweight single shot 10ga. What to try some 1 3/4oz slugs out of it?

Asmodeous,
I was at Tanners the day you bought your Armalite.
I was picking up a Bushmaster that day.
I've never seen people ogle a rifle like they did yours.

Guys, i'm looking into getting a sig this summer. I was wondering if any of you had any compact classic sizes. I am interested in the p229 in 40 or 357, and the 245. Or a 239. All of the classic compact sizes. .40, 357 and .45. Also if anybody has a DAK version that would be nice to try out too. Let me know if anybody can help me out. Thanks guys

Sig P229....

.... in .357Sig can be arranged.

DanV1317,

Should I be able to make the gathering(and it still looks good at this point), I'll bring along my P229 in .357Sig, along with a small selection of ammo to try out. I'll post an update closer to the day.

Ray Reno will be the RO at the rifle range but I'll need another RO at the pistol range if P95Carry doesn't make it out.

If anyone can do it please let me know.

Jamie,

I just talked to my dad, he said he wants to go as well. He is a NRA certified instructor, and would be the RO for the pistol range.

P.S. As long as he gets to play with some toys that is

If he is sure he is coming I'll designate him. I'm sure somebody will be able to give me a break at some point.
