Bases/rings for Savage 10/14

What scope bases and rings do you recommend for a Savage 14 short action hunting rifle?
Favorite one piece rail/ rings?

Favorite two piece bases/ rings?

Looking for some good options for a hunting rifle.

One brand or type is pretty much the same as the next.
In most cases, the scope length can determine what bases and sometimes the rings. Partial to 2.5 or 3 X to 8 or 9X with a 32 or 40mm front lens, for hunting(what your hunting matters too), myself.
Midway's site has a search function that lets you look by firearm make and model. 48 products available for the Savage 14.

Leupold Standard 2-Piece Bases with 1" rings are currently on sale for $39.94 with free shipping. Assuming you have a 1" scope.

For my Savages i'm partial to EGW 1 piece bases. I drill mine out, along with the reciever for #8 screws. I figure any added rigidity can't hurt.

For my hunting rigs i use Vortex Viper low rings. ( the EGW bases are kinda high)

For my hunting i'm partial to 4-12 with 40-44mm objectives.
