Caldwell Deadshot Fieldpod
I'm looking at this for a couple of purposes. One, to provide a steady platform to sight in a couple of heavy rifles (such as a SA M1A with optics) for long range shooting.
Also, to support such rifles (such as a Performance Center S&W M&P 15 with heavy barrel, optics, etc) in the field. I know the device must be constructed of lightweight material to make it field handy, but is it solid/stable enough to be rock solid for sighting in for precision shooting? http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoot...3Bcat104212080 Also, they have a "pro" model vs the standard model. The "pro" model sells for twice as much and the only difference I can see is that the "pro" has a level. Is it worth the difference? Last edited by FoghornLeghorn; September 16, 2013 at 05:33 PM. |
