1917 Enfield Bolt and Rifle Teardown

Yes I know its a Model of 1917 but the Enfield part clues everyone in as it has kind of become the defacto description.

I found these two links and this give you all you need to know about tear down of the 1917 and you can download it in PDF for storage.

Bolt is tricky the way it comes apart and this answers it. I took a washer and cut it up so it slide inside and that works even better as it does not pop out.

The one I disagree with is pulling the stock pins to remove the swivel ring. Just open up the screw, spread the ring a bit and slide down.
