I picked up my first Ruger rifle this weekend: a M77RMKII in .30-06. The blueing looks fine and the stock, while unassuming next to fancier versions out there, is attractively done. I'm familiar with the trigger complaints, and will eventually get around to having it cleaned up or replaced, as necessary. Other than that, what can I expect from my latest acquisition?

I think you will be pleased. I just picked up an M77 in 7x57mm and it shoots great. Beautiful wood.
