Remington 1100 rear trigger plate pin falls out

My brother-in-law has a Remington 1100 that the rear trigger plate pin will just fall out. I haven’t taken it apart yet, but can someone tell me what holds that pin in?

Remove both front and rear pins and drop the trigger assy. from the receiver with the bolt in the forward position.

Look at the inside of the trigger assy. You will see a bushing for each pin front and rear. There will also be a detent spring on each bushing. This spring is shaped like the letter "D". That detent spring is prolly' not on the rear bushing.

Brownells sells them, and they are very simple to install.
