I don't own an Encore, but I can pass on what others who do say about it. Yes, you would use the same loads as you would in any longer barreled rifle. If you think about it, manufacturers don't sell rifle ammo specifically for the T/C, so reloads should follow the same standard.
Now, having said that, some Encore reloaders try to use powders on the faster end of the powder spectrum. I would guess their reason would be to have more powder burned and still achieve acceptable pressure levels sooner in the shorter barrel. As an example, you might want to use IMR 4895 instead of the slower IMR 4831. |

Some reloading manuals such as my Lyman manual have special sections dedicated to loads for the T?C Encore and the Contender.

You can use the standard rifle loading data, but you will generally get the best performance by hand picking the fastest powder out of the group of acceptable powders listed.
A better alternative is to use Encore specific data, as jsflagstad mentioned the data is available in the Lyman reloading manual. Great gun, a lot of cartridge for a handgun, but a great cartridge nonetheless. I love the 7-08 in an Encore, I do not load mine near the maximum level though. The 308 in a pistol - all I have got to say is wow. I think a 44 mag's recoil is very light compared to the 308 in a pistol.
