7x57 favorites ?

I've been reloading for over 30 years but just added a new, but very old, caliber to my repertoire. The 7x57 Mauser.

I was just wondering, would anyone like to share any favorite loads?

Also, has anyone had any success with Barnes X out of this caliber or is the velocity too limited for this long a bullet?

Thanks, K

Never reloaded for that 7mm.

Barnes say that their rifles bullets expand reliably down to 1600 fps. Being a longer bullet, a bit faster twist may be required to properly stabilize the bullet as they are longer than equivalent lead-based bullets.

The Wife's 7-08 shoots the 140 Barnes XBTs very well indeed.
