Help! Newbie goofed.
Can someone please let me know the correct orientation for the flat spring that acts as a ramrod retaining clip in a CVA Hawken?
Mine fell out when I stripped the lock & trigger down to clean & lube & I don't remember, can't figure out which way it should be fitted. Does the long shallow curve bear on the barrel bottom, or the shorter circular round on the end opposite the cross bolt hole?

I'f CVA uses the same type clip as T/C, it should curve out against the rod (not the barrel). So the middle of the spring puts some pressure on the rod. At least that's how mine is and it seems to work ok.
