That does it...here in sunny soCal, we just had a gentleman shot in his shower...wait, let me clarify that....he was shot while he was taking a shower.
The TV news said there at least 12 rounds fired by a "high powered rifle"...what happened to "Assault" rifle?
The shots were fired through the wall where the gentleman was taking a shower and at least four rounds hit him while he was standing in his shower.
Well, FUD, I beleive this answers your thread about carrying in the shower/bath.

Sigh...looks like I have to start digging the moat tomorrow...have to build those layers of defense to keep the goblins out.

Ya see, they already have the so-called assault rifles being banned in some form or another. Now it's going to be "sniper rifles", and " high powered rifles".

Sure they don't want our hunting rifles...

no they dont want our hunting rifles, they want our high powered rifles, and they will mesure the power by the velocity which will rule out everything from .22lr on up.
