What is your max budget ?
What do you intend to use the gun for ? What shotguns have you fired / how did they fit ...? |

Don't shoot Clays so I don't worry about them. Have killed both dove and quail with no problems. Haven't hunted anything bigger to date but don't doubt that I could use slugs with no problems for deer, hogs, coyotes, et al. Great for 3-gun competition!!!

Beretta 390 or 3901 in 20 ga. would be my choice. It can be adjusted to fit you.

Shotguns don't come in one size fits all ..... drop at comb, drop at heel, length of pull, overall weight, balance point, etc all matter when picking out a gun.
If the 11-87 fits you / and it fits your budget - that's what you should buy... My personal choice in a 20ga semi-auto is the Benelli Super Sport but that's because it fits me as well .... |

I was in the market for a 20 ga pump with a vented rib 20 inch barrel to hunt rabbits with. I found a used 870 for 200 dollars that needed some work, so I picked it up. I have been pretty happy with it so far. I havent got a chance to shoot it yet tho.
